The heartbeat of our church is discipleship. Jesus’ command to his disciples was for them to also make disciples, and we take that seriously today. The process starts with evangelism for the unbeliever, because we believe that The Lost Matter to God, and should matter to us as well. When someone puts their faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ for their salvation, it is our duty to come alongside them, teaching, because Truth Matters. We are passionate about teaching God’s Word in its entirety, and we rally around our common beliefs and love for each other because Fellowship Matters. We care about bearing each others’ burdens and entreating the Lord on behalf of each other because Prayer Matters. These ideas are central to the early church as soon as the Holy Spirit is poured out at Pentecost (Acts 2:41-42). Following their example, all of our ministries at Capital City Church are built around these values as we diligently pursue God’s glory through the discipleship of Christians in Cheyenne.
