On the first Sunday of every month, we will pause Children’s Church at 10:15 so that all the children can join their families in the Corporate Worship Service as we remember the Lord’s sacrifice as we celebrate Communion together.
Children's and Nursery Directors: Noah and Lindsey Humble
Noah was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming but grew up in Louisiana until high school. Lindsey was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado and lived there until middle school when she moved to Cheyenne. Noah put his faith in Jesus at the age of nine, being led to Christ in Sunday school by his Sunday School teacher. Lindsey was also nine when she came to faith. She asked her dad about Jesus, and they talked and prayed. The next day she told her Sunday school teacher that her dad saved her. Her Sunday school teacher kindly corrected her that Jesus saved her. Lindsey and Noah have been involved in church and walking faithfully with the Lord ever since. The Humbles have a desire to help children learn about the Gospel and come to Christ early in their lives as both of them did.
Capital City Church has a special place in the heart of Noah and Lindsey, as it has been the place they met, got engaged, and were married, and now serve as leaders in the Children’s area. Noah directs the Children’s Ministry, while Lindsey directs the Nursery. Together, they share a passion for helping children feel loved and cared for, as they are the most precious among us and deserve love and attention. Lindsey and Noah have one daughter, Eloise. They are also expecting another child in September of 2025. The Humbles love to workout, go on walks with their dog, and play with their daughter. Noah works in accounting at Simon Construction, while Lindsey is a resource coordinator at the Cheyenne Children’s Clinic.
NextGen Director: Tim Druckenmiller
Tim and Melissa are both originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado. They moved to Carpenter, Wyoming with their three children in 2022 and joined Capital City Church several months later.
Tim and Melissa both placed their faith in Jesus at an early age. Tim was four when he heard a confusing statement in preschool that prompted him to ask his mother about salvation later that evening. He placed his faith in Jesus that night. Melissa chose to place her faith in Jesus at the age of five, when her brother shared the gospel to comfort her when she was scared. Both Tim and Melissa’s relationship with the Lord grew stronger when they became teenagers.
Tim and Melissa love serving the Lord in whatever way He asks. Over the course of their 15 years, they have been blessed with the opportunity to lead several youth and college groups. They have a passion for teaching young people the truth of God’s word and discipling them to follow Christ. This passion is fueled by the belief that students need a solid foundation in God’s word to help them when they graduate to college and the workplace.
When not serving in the youth, you can find Tim and Melissa in the mountains (camping, hiking, or paddleboarding), spending time playing board games with their children, or trying to decide which animal to take on next on their property. Tim also enjoys playing guitar in his spare time and Melissa loves reading, baking and gardening.
